How it began...

Before there ever was a "tour", all there was was a Father and his three sons playing golf on Sunday mornings.
Official stats and handicaps began in 1994 when they started to play for "dogs" to make it more fair and more fun!

We start to grow...

They continued to play for a couple of years with the occasional "apprentice" filling in when someone took a week off.
1997 was the year we added the next three "plumbers".

1998 Frank Mazzullo Sr. the "Master Plumber" passed away on January 29,1998 and went to play the great courses in the sky. the six continued to play and added one new "Plumber" in 1998... KEN BLOOM

2008 is over and done with and again we did not add any "Plumbers' to the tour. Quite a few try outs and guests...Dan Saunders, Jay and Tony Mazzullo, John Baran and Tony Mahoney. Hopefully someone will play enough in 2009 to get their card.

2009 saw a couple of new faces play with the "Plumbers". Joe Lutz and Jason Dugan for the first time and John Baran and Tony Mahoney with return visits. No new full fledged "Plumbers" in 2009. A couple of new $$$ games were added to the mix....All year "Match Cards" and the "Ex-lax Cup".

2010 was the first time in four years that the tour added new members . Still working on it was John Baran and one new try out on the last week of the season was Chris Verbeski. Welcome aboard to four new card carrying "Plumbers"....TONY MAHONEY, JOE LUTZ, JASON DUGAN and TOM ALLISON.

2013 has come and gone.... No new members added, but we had a slew of guests play... some returning and some new. Back again were Tony Mazzullo ,Dick Johnson, Keith Bloom and Jeff Mattas. First timers were Jim Buehler, Larry Rauff and Bill Boylan.

2014 is over and we did not add any new "Plumbers"....Still trying to get enough rounds was Dick Johnson...Jeff Mattas was back a few times as was Keith Bloom for a couple and Tim Saiers tried it once.

2015 saw the passing of Bill Mazzulla, an 18 year "Plumber" who always was game to play and never failed to take a "press". Once again we had some guest players... Tim Saiers, Keith Bloom, Tony Mussare, Jeff Stone, Doug DeClerck and Chad Fenstemaker...And after many years of trying JEFF MATTAS finally gets his tour card and went on to win the money title as a rookie Plumber...

2016 is over and we did add a couple of new "Plumbers".... Also, as always we had a number of guest visits....Jason Dugan, Keith Bloom, Ian Faulkner, Tim Saiers and Jeff Stone all showed up to enjoy the fun...Welcome aboard to the 2 newest card carrying "Plumbers"... DOUG DECLERCK and CHAD FENSTERMAKER.

2017 has come and gone ... One of the "Original" Plumbers, Frank Mazzullo,  has "retired" from the Tour and taken up residence in Arizona...He will be missed....We did have one guest player this year...Jason Lepley... We did add a new card carrying "Plumber"....Welcome aboard KEITH BLOOM.

2018 was another fun year on the Plumbers Tour... only had one new try out in Larry Gage who started late and came up a few rounds short but will be trying again in2019....  Once again we added a full card carrying "Plumber"  from last year... Welcome aboard JASON LEPLEY.

2019 flew by all too quickly again...The only guest appearance we had this year was Tim Saiers who made his annual visit...We did get to add a new card carrying "Plumber" from last year trying...Welcome aboard LARRY GAGE ...A really sad part of the year was the passing of John "Ferris" Buehler who brought 18 years of good times to the Plumbers Tour...He will be greatly missed !!!

2020 has come and gone and none too soon!! It was a year that is hard to explain: Injuries, illnesses, surgeries and the Corona virus all played havoc with our golf season.. There is always something positive to be said and we did play a shotened saeson with the return to full Plumber status after a couple year sabbatical for John "JB" Barone... One new card carrying Plumber joined our group after guest shots in '05 and '11 ..Welcome aboard TED DOUGHERTY.

2021 was a better season with some relief from Covid.. Our only guest this year was Tim Saiers for his annual appearance... We did get a new full fledged Plumber who started mid season but played regularly enough to get the needed number of rounds to secure his Plumbers card... Nice job TOM PERROTTO.

2022 was another year with some quirks again,,We had again a number of illnesses, injuries, surgeries and a couple of departures that played havoc during the season...We can only hope for a better 2023...                                                                One of the only bright spots for the year was adding a new card carrying Plumber to the Tour who jumped in with both feet and got the needed rounds,,,Glad to have you DICK BRADLEY ...

2023 has come and gone. It was again a season with some highs and lows, but still another fun year for the most part. Our only guest visit was Tim Saiers for his yearly appearence. We did add two more card carrying Plumbers to the tour....                  Back from 2015 with enough rounds was TONY MUSSARE and coming in from the metropolis of Laporte, DAVE PADILLA who also jumped in with both feet ..Welcome to the tour guys...

2024 is another season in the history books... we didn't have any guest appearances this year and no new Plumbers were added to the ranks... We did lose a few card carrying members due to injury, health issues, additional reponsibilities and                  some other reasons... With the increasing age of the group, those are things that will surely continue... Maybe we can attract some new younger blood to our tour in 2025...
